Dude, I don’t know when the Hot Morning Mess at Hot 99.5 FM grew on me so much but I am supremely pissed off. Today was their last day on the air, that’s such BULLSHIT. I can say whatever I want because since I listened to that show everyday for at least a year now, I have paid my dues to that radio station.
NOT ANYMORE
Hot 99.5’s key demographic are women around my age. I may be only one but I’m not listening anymore. Truth be told, most of their other DJs are just mediocre. They don’t have the personality, the vibe or the fan base that Kris and Mark (And Ron, and Teapot when he was still there) have. To get people to stick with you in the morning, especially while competing with Russ Parr is a hard thing to do and now I think I’ll have to go back to listening to Russ Parr in the mornings until I find out where Kris and Mark are going to next.
This is probably one of the stupidest decisions that the management at Hot 99.5FM could have ever done.

Anyways I’m tired as all hell and it’s only 8:43pm. PREMATURE AGING, I’m only 22!!! Tomorrow I’ll blog about something cool, or whatever may be on my mind at that point.

I am pissed too! I will be 22 in about 3 weeks and I agree that this station was totally my demographic. I am furious that they aren’t on the air anymore.

I’m done with Hot 99.5 and I won’t be listening again unless they come back.
Does anyone know where they went? I would love to know if they are doing morning shows elsewhere. They were the only reason I hadnt already invested in Satellite Radio.

I just got back from my honeymoon to find out what all went down. I can’t believe it. I’ve been listening to them for 3 years. I’m never listening to HOT 99.5 again. I’m so disgusted with the management there. If anyone finds out where Kris and Mark are going to pass the info along. I want to give them all my support!

WOW, I’m SO excited that *the* Kris Gamble left a comment on my blog. Thanks so much Krissy, I hope you feel better from you surgery and that I get to hear you guys soon, I haven’t listened to any radio station really since, I just commit to my CD’s. I didn’t like Kane at first either, but I am definately liking him much more than Mark & Kris. I can still hear Kris’s whiney voice in my head. I don’t think that either one were very good, they were fake and to sketched. The whole program seemed planned out. But I guess we all have a difference of opinion.
