Wow, have 365 days almost passed us by already? It’s so hard to imagine it, there’s things that I’ve been thinking about and they happened this year but it may as well have been like three years ago or something.
I think the way to define this year, would be as the year of change. Usually you’ll have the year of heartbreak, the year of happiness, the year of maturity, stuff like that. At least I tend to categorize entire years by what happened within it. For almost everyone I know, major changes have occurred. Whether it was quitting smoking, dropping useless friends, growing up, learning to deal with what life throws at you, learning to move on from feeling self pity, or even from changing to being a great person and then going right back into what you used to be mode, everyone has undergone some kind of change this year.
My change, honestly was a quest for self acceptance. That is acceptance of me by me, not anybody else. I have learned to truly be at peace, to truly speak my mind. To really not give a shit about what anyone thinks. I am still single, still going to school, but I’m honestly quite content with my life. For the first time ever I feel like I am where I’m supposed to be. 2007 will be a great year for me.
So let’s go with Resolutions:
In 2007 I will:
– Be out of most of my debt by March
– Lose 50 lbs or get down to a size 12 whichever comes first
– Take care of myself and others around me
– Keep up with Leo’s grooming schedule
– Look my best every day
– Graduate college
– Start saving money to buy my own place
– Get underway on Team Woo – Woo
I’m more ecstatic about this coming year than any other year I’ve ever waited for. I hope that all of you are as exited as I am!!!

P.S: I can’t wait for next year with Britney’s new album. It’s going to be awesome no matter what, even if it sucks, my undying loyalty will buy her album! I have unfailing hope and faith that she’ll get her shiznit together.

Well, well, well. It seems that the holidays are definitely here. It’s so weird, New Year’s is going to be here soon. I have a feeling that 2007 will be a great year so I’m not worried. Time truly does fly ever so quickly, 2006 blew by like I don’t even know what.
I’ve been so busy running around and decorating my house, and decorating my work that I have barely had any time to do anything with anyone. Right now I’m at work, my third Saturday in a row. Fun. :\
I can’t wait to give my parents their presents, I got my mom the euphoria perfume from Calvin Klein and a spa set. I got my dad a portable DVD player and the original King Kong DVD. I’ve bought most of my friends their presents and have already given them. I believe I have two people left to buy for. My house looks so pretty, XMas lights make me happy.
I didn’t go out last night because I was EXHAUSTED, since on Thursday night Taaka and I stayed up late to bake goodies for our co-workers. My cupcakes came out delicious, I will post the recipe soon since everyone has been asking me for it. Yum yum!
Anyways, I’ll write more later when I fully awaken,

So I saw this episode of The Parkers awhile ago in which Monique’s character was one of those cosmetic sellers, and she had an asp on her head. Therefore I found it fitting to title my blog that way.
On with it!
Let me just tell you, very few infommercials live up to their hype. I sit there and I stare in awe but then I think, is this for real?
I finally found one, ladies and gentlemen I present to you: i.d. bareMinerals
Holy shit, I swear to you that is the best skin makeup I have ever used in my life. The results are phenomenal, I’ve only been using it a week and I already see my skin getting softer and feeling nicer. I think I glow.. awesome.
Anyways, I definitely recommend it. It’s a little pricy.. $60 for the beginners kit at Ulta (another one of my wicked indulgences.. i LOVe that place!,) but it’s definitely worth it. I’m going to save up some money and get some of their other stuff, I’m hooked for life!

I’m reporting live from the Deep Creek in Maryland. It’s pretty awesome, the BEAM and her man Bryon invited me to come along. It’s a gorgeous log cabin with fireplaces and everything. Last night I saw a stuffed fox, I think I peed a little but I didn’t tell them that. Hahaha
There were some crazy winds on the way up here and my little Jetta was a swaying on the road.. it kind of scared the crap out of me. I was clenching the wheel so hard that my knuckles felt like they were ripping through my skin. It was too much for me and the BEAM had to start driving for me. I was like a pussy of all pussies, it was so dark out when we got here and what not but then after an hour of being freaked out I finally got settled and we were watching Avatar which is AMAZING. I’ll tell you something, a lot of cartoons out there are so stupid and not worth a damn. Definitely invest in Avatar, it has a real storyline and you get involved in it pretty quickly. Seriously, I want to be an Airbender now LOL
We watched it until 2am and then we all passed out. Today I think we may see Happy Feet.. holy shit I just saw someone walk by, there is life at Deep Creek.
